Gardening Club
Wessex Water have kindly donated £50 to the Gardening Club to purchase a Water Butt. We have already installed one outside the new door opposite the blue gates. Our aim is to encourage recycling of rain water to use in our school vegetable garden. This is especially important now that the water companies have introduced hose pipe restrictions in certain parts of England.
Today our year eight became budding journalists for the day reporting on local issues and stories.

Greetings from a much calmer School Report HQ!
We have spent the past few days going through your School Report web pages and we are all so impressed by your students’ reports – they are original, creative and very professional. Well done and thanks to you all for your hard work.
In case you were too busy to watch our School Report TV programmes which were broadcast on our website on News Day (I know I was!) they are being repeated this Saturday 24th March 2012 on the RED BUTTON from 10am to 1.15pm (press the Red Button from BBC One, BBC Two, CBBC or the BBC News Channel)
We’ll be launching our ‘Summer of Reporting’ after Easter, so if you want to be involved in stories such as the Torch Relay, Diamond Jubilee celebrations or the Olympic and Paralympic Games, do keep an eye out for further emails.
As a start, if any of your students are involved in the School Games from 7-9th May please let us know.

Tescos vouchers for school scheme starts has started again. Please remember to bring in vouchers either to the office or to Mr McBlain directly. Last year we collected 40 thousand vouchers lets see if we could beat that figure this year. The chart will be out soon!

The rules: Base your design on a nature theme
Link the design to a children’s book
Include the title of the book and the author somewhere in your design
Make it bright and bold – not too many fiddly bits
Your design must fill an A4 piece of paper
Write your full name, age and class on the back
Submit your design to Mrs Phillips by Friday 30th March
Three winning designs will be painted on to the walls by ‘A’ level students from Corfe Hills School
