Year 7 March on.
by m mcblain - Friday, 11 November 2011, 11:31 AM

Year 7 took on Baden Powell at home on Monday. It was a league match. Match 3 of 5. We have won our two previously. 8-2 vs Oakdale and 10-2 vs Emmanuel.

Canford Heath started brightly making some nice passing moves. No end product. The rout started 1-0, 2-0, 3-0, 3-1, 4-1. The goals were flying in for Harry Cobb he ran rings around the defence scoring 3 and setting up one for Tate.

At half time I brought on all our first team subs. 5-1-,5-2,6-2. The two chipped goals from Ollie Lake were top notch. He made space for himself and then chipped the ball in from 18 yards, lovely. I applauded all six of our goals they were really well taken. Alex Dobson, worked tirelessly, setting up chance, after chance, for us put in number seven.

The game finished 10-2. Played three won three. Scored 28 conceeded 6.

The following Monday we played Baden Powell at Lockyer's. The game was much closer than the other three. Both teams passed and moved swiftly and fluently. 1-1 at half time. They only had one chance in the first half and we went to sleep (as usual.) Our goal was a beautiful one touch goal of Arsenal quality.

The second half started well 2-1,3-1, 4-1 to us game over. We hit them with three quick goals. Final score 5-2. We looked dangerous every time we got the ball. Played 4. Won 4. Scored 33 conceded 8. Bring on Allenbourn.

Would a pupil like to take over as a reporter for our matches? If so see, Mr.McBlain.

Year 8 Girls Champions of Bournemouth
by m mcblain - Friday, 11 November 2011, 11:11 AM

Our Year 8 girls football team, went to Littledown, on Tuesday. They were there to compete, for the right, to represent AFC Bournemouth, at the next level of 6-a-side.

There were 18 teams in three groups. Our group was the strongest. We played four matches. We won two games and drew two games. Three teams finished on eight points. We won the group on goal difference. The two teams we drew with should've gone through as they played some lovely football.

In the semi-final,we were all over Ferndown, they didn't even get a shot in. 0-0, extra time, we still couldn't score. Penalties, Chloe Goodson scored her penalty, as well as saving three, to put us through.

In the final we played some lovely football. Amy scored in about 5 seconds. The team won 4-0, in our easiest match of the tournament.

We now go on to represent AFC Bournemouth, at Aldershot, in January. Well done. A great day. We've been runners-up twice before.
